- Usage Limitations

As the user EXTSUB module is an external extension of PROIV, certain limitations apply:

There is no access to PROIV's private variables or functions.
It is ONLY possible to access PROIV's keyboard and screen through the callback functions provided.
File handles are a shared resource with PROIV. Using files in the module reduces the number of files handles available to PROIV.

PROIV Unix uses the concept of Batch Processing.
