This option is used for internal tracing of the PROISAM Interface. For Unix, this would include errors such as 'Corrupt File', or 'Disk Full'. For Win32, output to the PROISAM log is disabled in the production (non-debug) kernel.
For Unix, the logging is automatically enabled if the log file exists, and file system permissions are set to allow it to be opened for write. The file name is:
/etc/proisam
For Win32, the logging is automatically enabled if the log file exists. The file name is:
<temp dir>\istrace.txt
Where <temp dir> is the Windows Temporary Directory.
