If a 2-digit year is used in the PROIV data, the PROIV kernel formats it as a 4-digit year by using the environment variables defined to follow a 50-year rule. In the calendar control mode, the kernel always sends a 4-digit year to the Client and the Client always returns a 4-digit year to the kernel. This avoids any Y2K (Year 2000) related issues.
