To configure Microsoft Windows kernel startup for all of the PROIV sessions running on a host machine, and to make the settings common to all users who run the application:

1. On the PROIV Client main menu, select the Edit menu.

2. Select the Default Properties menu options. Alternatively you can press Ctrl Shift I. The PROIV Properties Customisation window displays.

3. Select the General option.

4. Set the PROIV Virtual Machine Server Platform radio to Microsoft Windows.

5. Click Host Connection option.

6. Enter the IP address or Server Name in the PROIV Virtual Machine Hostname or IP Address field.

7. Click Apply to save the changes.

8. Click OK to close the window.

Note: The default connection to Microsoft Windows is known as Direct Server Connection.
