To configure Unix startup for all of the PROIV sessions running on a host machine, and to make the settings common to all users who run the application:

On the PROIV Client main menu, select the Edit menu.

Select the Default Properties menu options. Alternatively you can press Ctrl Shift I. The PROIV Properties Customisation window displays.

Select the General option.

Set the PROIV Virtual Machine Server Platform radio to Unix Server.

Click Host Connection option.

Enter the IP address or Server Name in the PROIV Virtual Machine Hostname or IP Address field.

To select Automatic Login, ensure the Login Via Terminal is not selected.

If applicable, select the Binary Telnet check box.

Configure the User Prompt and Password Prompt details if required.

Enter the server shell prompt string in the Command Line Prompt field.

Select the Host option. Click Add and enter the complete path to the rungui script.

Select the Security option.

Enter the server user name in the User Name field.

Enter the server password in the Password field.

Click Apply to save the changes.

Click OK to close the window.
