Telnet Terminal Emulation

The PROIV Client uses a telnet emulator when the PROIV kernel is run on a remote machine and direct interaction may be required.  A third party telnet emulator should be used when the remote system requires an unusual login sequence that PROIV cannot handle automatically, or when the PROIV application runs external programs on the remote system with which the user must interact.

By default, the PROIV Client uses TELNET.EXE and the Microsoft Corporation's WINSOCK.DLL program.
