- Interactions with the PROIV Virtual Machine

At this level, interactions between the PROIV engine and external applications and data become apparent. Note the ability to interface with third-party Windows applications using ActiveX as well as the Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE).

The interface from the PROIV Virtual Machine to stored data (application data, code and the PROIV runtime) is the same on all platforms.
