The DDE debug feature allows you to receive a visual confirmation, in text form, when PROIV converses with the DDE server.
DDE Error Message Dialog Box
The same message text will be logged to PROIV client trace file, if it is enabled. The message text contains the error title message, the PROIV function that called the DDE, when the error occurred, the DDE internal error message, and error number.
