Procedural Example

To define Server-Side Object's initial property values which are used when the function creates the SSO:

  1. Open the relevant function.

  2. Click on the Function Definition Properties icon and click on the SSOs tab. Drop-down list.

  3. Click Properties . The is only enabled if the selected SSO has associated properties.

  4. The Properties for SSO window appears.

  5. Select the property that you want to configure and click the Assign . The Assign value to property dialogue box is displayed.

  6. Enter the appropriate value and click the OK to close the dialogue box.

  7. Enter details into the following fields.

Fields on the XXXX window:

Displays the SSO's properties.

Displays the property type:

A - Alpha

N - Numeric

W – Wide

Value

Displays the property's assigned value.

Show All

When the Show All check box is unselected, all properties are displayed regardless of whether they have values assigned to them. When the check box is selected, only properties with assigned values are displayed.

Deassign

Deassigns the value from the property.

Assign

Assigns the value to the property.

OK

Closes the Properties for SSO window.

Test Connection

Click Test Connection to test the connection details. Successful or failed connections are reported.
