Viewing a Recording

Recordings can be viewed, as well as being run. This means that the Recording(s) are replayed through a browser in PROIV Assure Console and no PROIV Session connection is made. They can be viewed from either the Suites, Tests or Recordings tabs.

You can step through a Recording in View mode. The Viewing process starts at step one and you can step through one step at a time, or jump through ten steps at a time. You can exit the View at any point and the right hand pane displays the History Pane, or is blank if you are viewing a Recording from the Recordings tab.

To view a Recording, follow these steps:

You can view Recordings from the Suites, Tests or Recordings tabs.
Select the appropriate Suite, Test or Recording.
Click on the View the Recording(s) icon.
The Recording appears the right hand pane.
To step through the Recording use the Step and Step 10 s and if you want to jump a specific step, enter the step number and click the GoTo Step .

Fields on the View pane:

Item	Description
Step	Click Step to move through the Recording by one step.
Step 10	Click Step 10 to move through the Recording by ten steps.
GoTo Step	Click GoTo Step to move to a specific step in a Recording.
Back	Click Back to move back a step in a Recording.
Exit	Exits the Viewing process.

Click Exit to close the Viewing process.
