The SysSecurityInfo parameter contains operating system level security information (user ID and password), which are passed to the Kernel Manager. The Kernel Manager verifies each Client’s user ID and password and uses SysSecurityInfo parameter to start the kernel process under the correct operating system security context. (For example, on Unix it is used to su (setuid) to the correct user ID before executing the kernel process.)
