Parameter Passing to Update and Report Functions

You should not assign task parameters to file variable in Update and Report functions, as the PROIV timing cycle operation will clear these values out on subsequent iterations. Instead, assign the parameter to a scratch variable, and then assign that variable to the appropriate file variable in (say) Before Write logic.
