The szEnvironment parameter contains the Environment name.  This name is used by the Kernel Manager to identify which pro4v[n].ini configuration to use.  The Kernel Manager has a configuration file, which maps the valid Environment Names to the pathname of the corresponding INI file.  This indirection is performed rather than just passing an INI pathname as the environment, and rather than having to maintain the location of the server directory on each client machine.

The INI file contains any other information needed to set up the correct kernel environment.
