Batch Queues and the Bus |

It is possible and practical to use PROIV batch queues from Tasks. However, there is no connection between the execution of the batch queue and the Bus. This means that you cannot read or write Task parameters from the batch function(s), nor can you run a report whose output will be returned over the Bus to the P4API caller via the API report device name.
As far as the batch function(s) are concerned, they run exactly the same as if they were not started from a task.
