Open Client Unsupported Browsers Overview
Open Client prevents the connection from unsupported browsers, it displays a '403 Forbidden' error page and the user is unable to connect. The prevention works by the matching of the user agent string from the browser against a configurable set of unsupported patterns. Refer to the latest PROIV Release Notes for a list of supported browsers. The error page is called unsupported_browser.html (located in the root of the installation) and is part of the Open Client distribution. It can be edited by integrators if required, but the server returns a '403' status.
