Purpose

VERT-TOT returns the value of the vertical total accumulated for a report field.
 

Syntax

#var-name = VERT-TOT(file-var)
 

Operation

#var-name is the scratch variable in which the vertical total is to be placed.
file-var is the report field variable for which the vertical total was taken.
 

Remarks

file-var must have been flagged for vertical totals.
