When you install an ODBC option, each database that is being connected to requires an ODBC data source setup. Additionally, each user should have the following variables declared in the database configuration section of PROIV Dashboard for the database types such as Oracle, DB2, SQLServer, MySQL.

For Windows: This setting assumes that your ODBC data source is configured as a System Data Source, not a User Data Source. If it is not, go to Control panel, ODBC Data Sources and select the System DSN tab. Click Add to create a new data source and select the driver as SQLServer.

PROIV external file types are fully described in the PROIV documentation. Any PROIV files defined for SQL Server installations should have their file type set to SQLSERVER, and DB2 installations should have their file type set to DB2.
