The isin utility reads data from one or more sequential files created by isout and, for each one, creates or updates one or more indexed file(s).  Used with isout, isin enables PROIV data files to be transferred from one system to another.

ischk, ispack, and isin must be used with extreme caution since they modify PROISAM files, and they must not be used on PROISAM files that are in use by other PROIV users.
