The static objects shown are for the selected cycle. The default cycle is initially selected but you can change this by clicking on the Select and selecting a cycle from the Cycle Tag drop-down list.

The Object column includes an icon and a description to indicate the Object Type. The Tag column displays the tag name for each object. The next column shows the text, /icon label, or the name of a variable to be displayed in this object. Row, Col, Height and Width columns show the location and size of the object.

You can click on the relevant column heading to sort the static components by Object type, Tag name, Row position or Column position. The default sort is by Row.

Each object shown in the Statics View has a corresponding select box at the far left of the screen. These are used to select objects when building a clipboard fragment.

Displaying an Object’s Properties

To access an object's properties, select the Change view icon to display the Object Properties Grid. This displays the object's properties which can be directly selected and amended.

Note: Setting the Enable Object Properties in Views option in the Developer Options window ensures that the icon appears in the Development Views.

Alternatively select the object, and then click theChange viewicon on the PROIV Developer Toolbar to display the selected object properties.

Adding New Objects

This is a PROIV paging screen controlled by modes. To add objects, go into Add mode, and you can then enter a new object and its details.
