SCREEN FUNCTION DYNAMICS - BEHAVIOR OF SPINNERS

The following are the behavioral parameters, configure as required.

  1. Double-click the spinner object.
    The Spinner properties window appears.

  2. Click Behavior tab.

  3. To set the spinner's runtime behavior, configure the properties as required and click OK.

Item

Description

Tab Stop

Select the check box to ensure the spinner is visited when the TAB key is pressed.

No Change

Select the check box to ensure the spinner contents cannot be changed when the cycle is in Change mode.
Note: This property has no effect if the cycle is not in Change mode.

Display Only

Select the check box to ensure the spinner is display only.

Visibility

Select one of the following options:

Normal ('') - rendered and visited in all modes.

Windows Client Only ('W') – rendered and visited only in Windows Client mode.

Open Client Only ('O') - rendered and visited only in Open Client mode.

Tag

Enter the unique Tag for the spinner. Using meaningful Tag names makes the function more readable.

Associated Tag

Select the Tag of the field with which the spinner is associated. You can select from a list of defined Tags.

Security

Set the minimum security level (1-9) to allow change/lookup on the spinner.
