Tools are defined temporarily against the session, and must be saved in order to re-use them in the future.
When the cursor is on the action line number in the Actions Definition paging area, or the screen mode is Look-Up, the Save becomes available.
Clicking this opens a dialogue into which the tool can be given a permanent name and description.
If the tool name is already in use, a warning dialogue will display asking if you wish to overwrite the existing tool.
Saved tools can be loaded in when starting the define tool process. When loaded, the settings are copied to the temporary tool for that session and so can be altered without affecting other users. To permanently alter an existing Tool, changes must be saved to the same name, overwriting the existing settings.
