Logic Tools |
DEVELOPER |
The Local Tools window is accessed via the tools icon at the bottom of the editor.
This opens a window that offers a selection of tools, all of which act on the current open logic only.
The tools are largely self-explanatory, but a short description of each is given here.
Logic Find & Replace - This pops a standard Windows text Find & Replace utility, which acts on the current open logic only.
Insert File Mapping Logic - This tool will generate logic lines mapping the variables from one file definition to the variables in a second file definition. This is particularly useful when dealing with Alternate file definitions (including Child file definitions).
View another Logic - This tool allows you to open a logic id in another function (or a Global Logic) in Look mode, without actually opening the object. This makes it a quick way to view another logic, and is particularly useful for copying lines of logic from the viewed logic id.
Insert OPR and Date - This is a typing saver, which will insert your operator id and the date in a comment line.
Comment Selected Logic - If you highlight a block of logic, this will insert comment markers before every line.
Un-Comment Selected Logic - If you highlight a block of logic, this will remove any comment markers at the start of lines.
Indent Selected Logic - If you highlight a block of logic, this will insert four spaces before every line.
Un-Indent Selected Logic - If you highlight a block of logic, this will remove up to four spaces before every line that has spaces at the start.
Uppercase Selected Logic - If you highlight a block of logic, this will uppercase all lower case alphabetic characters in the block.
Lowercase Selected Logic - If you highlight a block of logic, this will lowercase all upper case alphabetic characters in the block.
