Purpose
 

CANCEL_ADD enables the exit of a row in a Paging Area when in Add mode, regardless of where you in relation to the Last Read Field and returns you to Navigation mode.

Operation

Remarks

The CANCEL_ADD() enables you to cancel out of entering data in a row.

• It returns you to Navigation mode regardless of whether you are before or after the Last Read Field.

• Also cancels if there is a mandatory field on a row that has not been entered.

• The current record addition is aborted.

• Records already committed by the add operation are not lost.

• CANCEL_ADD() only works in Paging Cycles and in the Add Mode.

• The Logic Verb does not take any parameters.
