Some attributes are set as Read-Only to prevent their values from being changed.
In some cases this is to prevent illegal changes, such as blocking an alteration to the current function object’s name. In other cases it is a temporary restriction in this version of the Tool Builder. For instance:
-
It is not possible to alter logic text in this version. Use the Logic Search and Replace Tool to do this.
-
Logic Id’s cannot be altered or unassigned from objects in this version.
-
Function Key Definitions - only the description, timing and disabled flags can be altered in this version.
-
Scratch variables can be renamed and new definitions will be created based on the original. However, defined variables which then become unused due to renaming are not cleaned up on completion of processing in this version. Use the "Bulk Clean-Up" utility after running any manipulation tools which rename scratch variables.
-
File Definitions, Task Definitions and Value variables are not supported in this version.
