This displays a list of all ActiveX controls found on your PC.

If there is a tick graphic at the left of a row, it signifies that the control has already been saved as a PROIV ActiveX object.

The other columns give information about the ActiveX control.

Details - Clicking this (or double-clicking on a row) opens a window that displays the control’s details, along with all available properties, methods and events. The details shown here are taken from the control itself, not from PROIV.

Save - Clicking this opens a window that allows you to save the control, and its details, to PROIV. To do this you must enter a Nickname for the control. This is the name by which the PROIV object will be known. The default name is the control’s name, as shown in the list, but these can often be long, and difficult to remember so you can change it to something easier to use.

When you click OK in this window, it may take a few seconds to write all the control’s details to PROIV.

A control can be saved more than once, with different Nicknames.
