The Action Control X-Reference window enables you to view which functions call the selected Action Control.

To open the Action Control X-Reference window:

  1. On the main PROIV screen, select the Tools tab.

  2. Select the List Based Tools tab.

  3. In the Object Cross References section, click the Action Control X-Reference icon.

  4. The Action Control / Control Bar Xref window displays.

  5. Select the relevant Action Control from the Action Control drop-down list and press RETURN. The window is populated with the functions that call the Action Controls.

  6. You can assign all the calling functions to a work list or print out a report from this window.

Item

Description

Action Control

Displays the Existing action controls dialogue box. Select an Action Control and click the OK .

Reselect

Re-displays the list of Action Controls enabling you to select a different Action Control.

Control Bar

Displays the name of the Control Bar that references the Action Control.

Description

Displays the description of the Control Bar.

Type

Displays the type of Control Bar that references the Action Control.

Rendition

Displays where the Control Bar is rendered. In other words, whether it appear as part of the main screen (Client) or as part of a smaller window (Window).

Worklist

Adds the functions which call the selected Action Control to the Active Work List, or you can decide to add them to a new work list and make that your active one.

Print

Generates the Function Calls to Action Control Report which can be saved as a text file and printed out if required.

Cancel

Closes the Action Control / Control Bar Xref window.
