Available objects can be booked out to more than one change number in a region. The Change Management system will, however, warn you that the object is already assigned to a change. If you choose to continue and confirm the dependency, the audit log will record your ID and name together with the date and time.

The dependency warning appears if you try to book out an available object that is already booked out to a different change number.

When changes are assigned to a release and the release is approved, the Release Manager will be alerted during the approval process that an object in the release has another change assigned to it that is not part of the current release. The other change can either be assigned to the current release or the object can be reassigned and removed from the current change. If neither action is taken, the audit log is updated noting that the dependency was confirmed.
