| Hide Dashboard Component |    |  | 
This section describes the procedure for hiding a Dashboard Component.
To hide a Dashboard Component from the PROIV Aurora Dashboard, follow these steps:
- 
 Click  icon. The Menu screen appears. icon. The Menu screen appears.
- 
 Select the Aurora Configuration option. 
- 
 Select the Hide Dashboard Component option. 
- 
 Select the component that you want to delete from the Component Name drop-down list. The fields are automatically populated with the component details. 
- 
 Click Hide to hide the component for all users. 
- 
 Click Cancel to exit the Hide Dashboard Component screen. 
Field Descriptions
| Fields | Description | 
| Component Name | User-defined component type. For example, you could set up a component type of a calendar, favourite link or a news feed. | 
| Component Object | Javascript name for the component. The name refers to a Javascript file. For example aurora.widgets.calendar.js. However, it is not necessary to include the .js suffix in the field. | 
| Title | Name of the component. For example, Favourites. | 
Note: If the Aurora Security and Menu option is not used, then this screen can be run directly from the PROIV Prompt or from a 3rd party menu by executing the @AU_HideUsersDashboardComponent function.
