Automatic Login provides a quick and easy method to login to a remote host. Rather than writing a login script, the PROIV Client offers you a simplified approach that automates the connection process for a wide class of host configurations. All that is required is the TCP/IP host name of the target system, and a valid operating system login ID and password.
You enter these parameters in the PROIV Properties Customisation window. Choose the host by entering its name in the PROIV Virtual Machine Hostname or IP Address field of the Host Connection option.
Ensure the Login Via Terminal check box is not selected.

Note: The Login Via Terminal check box is greyed out if you select the Microsoft Windows Server platform as it uses a direct server connection process. |
If you want to be prompted for the user name and password at each login, click the Prompt for Security check box Security option, and then enter the user name and password. To eliminate having to re-enter the user name and password each time you log in, check the Remember Username and Password check box.
