The Application Definitions File is a new file introduced with PROIV Version 5.0 that is used by the Windows Client. It contains font, color, and client-side logical filename mappings. There can be more than one application definitions file on a Windows Client machine, and the one in use is determined by the setting inside the active Windows Client PIV file. The file can have any legal name, and can reside in any directory.
