Test Suite

Description

Connector

Select a Connector from the Connector drop-down list. Connection details contain all the information required to connect to a PROIV Live Session and they can be configured in a variety of permutations against Suites.

If the Connector field is configured without the Prompt for Connector Details field being set, then the selected Connector overrides the connection details held in Tests or Recordings run by that Suite.

Prompt for Connector Details

If the Prompt for Connector Details field is configured without the Connector field being set, then when the Suite is run, you can choose a Saved Connector or enter any details that are different from the ones held in Recordings on the Connector Details window.

If both the Connector field and the Prompt for Connector Details fields are configured, the saved Connector’s details are displayed at runtime and you can edit them if necessary.

Comparator

Select a Saved Comparator Group from the Comparator drop-down list. When a Suite is run, a default set of comparisons are performed against the Recording and the PROIV Session. You can choose to turn off particular comparisons and save this set of comparators to a Saved Comparator Group. If a Saved Comparator Group is attached to a Suite, it will override the default comparators. However, it is important to note that if a Recording in a Suite is flagged not to compare, then this is obeyed and will take precedence over any group attached to the Suite.
