Non-Fatal Errors

If a Task fails to complete, the Task error function is executed. When this completes, a non-fatal error condition is returned to the calling application.  Non-fatal error messages may contain the following elements:

• The exception number

• The Client IP address

• The user thread id (the PROIV terminal id for the user)

• The current function or Task name

• The current LS number

• The current (last executed) field number.

When you acknowledge the error message, any spawned Client exits and the kernel user thread is terminated.  Other user threads continue running.
