Purpose

When &#@SUPP-COMM is enabled, the issuing of commit requests is suppressed until it is next disabled (at which point a commit is not issued immediately but at the next normal automatic commit point).  Transactions can be made to span PROIV functions by the use of this verb.

Syntax

&#@SUPP-COMM

Example

Suppresses the issuing of commit requests:.....ENABLE(&#@SUPP-COMM)

Re-enables the issuing of commit requests:.....DISABLE(&#@SUPP-COMM)
