Easel Canvas |
DEVELOPER |
The Canvas component provides a work area where function design occurs. Only one form may be on the canvas at a time. This is called the active form. When a form is active it becomes a drop target for the control palette allowing you to drag and drop controls on to its surface. In addition you can delete, move, resize, change, and align existing controls on the canvas.
When toggling from GUI to green screen, the canvas automatically displays character alignment, fix font, and color attributes of the underlying interface. You may edit either the GUI or green screen view of a form as changes made to one view automatically appear on the other.
The Alternate canvas operation allows you to merge two or more forms on top of each other during design (see Workspace Toolbars).
