option(s) One or more of the following options separated by spaces:
-ffile-type Selects the file system type. The default is the file system used as default by PROIV in your environment.
-kkey-length Specifies the key length of all files that are to be created. Because the files do not yet exist, wildcard specifications are not permitted in the filename list with the -k option. Either -k or -e (but not both) must be specified. The maximum PROISAM key length is 127.
-rrec-length Specifies the maximum record length of all files in the list that are to be created. Since the files do not yet exist, wildcard specifications are not permitted in the filename list with the -r option. The default maximum PROISAM record length is 3000.
If used, must be specified with the -k option.
-e Causes all files in the file name list to be cleared to the empty state (see Caution below). -k and -e are mutually exclusive. Either -k or -e (but not both) must be specified.
-n Suppresses the copyright banner.
file(s) One or more file names separated by spaces. File names may include wild card characters to match a list of files; refer to your operating system manual for a description of host wild card specifications.
