Null data indicators are presently supported only in Transparent mode. Consequently, only Transparent mode SQL statements may retrieve null columns in PROIV. Any attempt to retrieve a null column by a Full-Function mode statement will return SQL return code - 305 (NO NULL INDICATOR SPECIFIED).
