Configures default paths for a variety of PROIV processes, including the import and export of objects.

  1. Select the Developer menu and select Options.

  2. Select Default Paths option.

  3. Make any necessary changes.

  4. Click OK to save the changes.

Export

This option sets the default path for exporting objects. This setting affects the Directory/Path field on the Software Export & Package window, accessible via the General Tools...Export option.

You can click the icon to open the Directory Listing window to help you locate the appropriate path location.

If this option is not set, the default path is set by the PRODATA environment variable in the pro4v[n].ini.

Import

This option sets the default path for importing objects. This setting affects the Directory/Path field on the Software Import window, accessible via the General Tools...Import option.

Non-Source Export

This option sets the default path for archiving object backups. This setting affects the Directory/Path field on the Archive Object Backups window, accessible via the Project Administration Tools...Utilities... Archive Backups option.

Object Backups - Restore Archive

This option sets the default path for restoring archived object backups. This setting affects the Directory/Path field on the Restore an Object from an Archived Backup window, accessible via the Project Administration Tools...Utilities...Restore Archive option.

You can click the icon to open the Directory Listing window to help you locate the appropriate path location.

If this option is not set, the default path is set by the PRODATA environment variable in the pro4v[n].ini.

SQL Script Create

This option sets the default path for creating SQL scripts. This setting affects the Directory/Path field on the Create SQL Script window. To open this window, open the File Definition window and click the Output SQL to a Script File icon on the toolbar.

You can click the icon to open the Directory Listing window to help you locate the appropriate path location.

If this option is not set, the default path is set by the PRODATA environment variable in the pro4v[n].ini.

SQL Script Import

This option sets the default path for importing SQL scripts.  This setting affects the Directory/Path field on the Import SQL Script window. To open this window, open the File Definition window and click theImport SQL Script icon on the toolbar.

You can click the icon to open the Directory Listing window to help you locate the appropriate path location.

If this option is not set, the default path is set by the PRODATA environment variable in the pro4v[n].ini.

SSO Gallery

This option sets the default path for the scanning of Java JAR files by the SSO Gallery. This setting affects the Directory/Path field on the SSO Gallery window. To open this window, on the main PROIV screen, select the Tools tab, select the General Tools tab and select the SSO Gallery icon.

You can click the icon to open the Directory Listing window to help you locate the appropriate path location.

If this option is not set, the default path is set by the PRODATA environment variable in the pro4v[n].ini.


Note: Ensure path names are valid, otherwise an error message displays. This can be corrected by typing in a valid path.
