Select Admin from the Developer menu, select the Tools tab and select Clear History.

This option lets you clear the history information that is accessible via the History tab.

The Fields in this Window:

Project (or 'ALL') - Select a project to clear details for that project, or enter ALL to clear history for all projects.

Clear History Before - All history records created before this date will be removed.

Clear - Click to delete the selected records, or Cancel to exit without deleting any history information.

The amount of free space in the history file is shown by the % Full figure in the tooltip on the Admin History tab. To reset this after clearing history records, the physical file (vippm04.pro) needs to be reorganized. There are two methods for doing this:

  1. ispack vippm04.pro

  2. isout vippm04.pro, then delete vippm04.pro, then isin the .out file

In both cases, no users must be using the PRO4 environment, and it is safest to copy the file first, so that it can be restored in case of a system crash while processing.
