Objects are locked by the system when they are exported or imported. These locks are generally re-set on completion of the export or import. If there is a problem with one of these processes, objects may remain locked. Locked objects cannot be accessed by users.

Objects are also locked when they are booked out. Clearing object locks will book in all objects that are currently booked out.

To clear object locks:

  1. Open the Administration Console and click the Objects tab.

  2. Display a list of objects.

  3. Click Clear All Locks.

  4. Click Yes to clear all locks and reset the status of locked objects to Available.
