Approving a Change |
DEVELOPER |
Once a change has been completed, it can be approved. If a change is included on a release, the change must be approved before the release can be approved and transferred.
Changes can be approved either from the Maintain Change Numbers Console or from the change tree on the Change Management Console. |
Locate and select the change number that you want to approve on the Maintain Change Numbers Console.
Click Approve.
The Approve Change Number window opens.
The following table describes the fields:
If the Release is not assigned, the Approve Change for Transfer window appears with all details of the objects that are added to the migration.

The object description. |
Proceed |
Approves the change for transfer to the next region and closes the window. |
Cancel |
Closes the window without approving the change for transfer to the next region. |
Click OK.
Click Proceed.
The Change is approved.
Search for the change using the selection options on the Change Management Console.
Expand the tree and select the change.
The Change details are displayed.
Right-click and select Approve Change.
The selected change is approved and the log is updated.
