View Logged On Operators |
PROIV Aurora Help |
This section describes the procedure for viewing a list of users currently logged on to PROIV Aurora. It also covers searching the audit trail, viewing the Statistics Report, clearing the history log and for deleting an individual entry.
To view a list of users currently logged on to PROIV Aurora, follow these steps:
Click icon. The Menu screen appears.
Select the Security option.
Select the View Logged On Operators option.
The View Logged On Operators window appears.

Displays the name of the Operators logged on to Aurora via the PROIV Client. |

Displays the Session ID |

On Date |
Displays the date when the Operator was logged onto the system. |
Time |
Displays the time when the Operator was logged onto the system. |
Type |
Displays the Option Type that was accessed by the Operator. The Option Types are: Function is a PROIV Function. Menu is a Menu Option. Route is a path set up for navigation around functions. URL jumps to a website |
Fun/Menu |
Displays the code/name of the accessed function or menu. |
Current Menu/Function |
Displays the name of the accessed function or menu. |
Buttons |

Exit |
Click the Exit to close the screen |
View |
Click the View to display the Session Audit Details screen. This displays further information about the session. |
Refresh |
Click the Refresh to refresh the information in the View Logged On Operators section. |
Delete |
Click the Delete to delete the selected session. See the Deleting a Session section for more information. |
Stats Report |
Click the Stats Report to run the Stats Report, which contains details of how many times a Menu Option has been entered, and who has entered the option most often. |
Clear History |
Click the Clear History to view history prior to a specified date. |
Search |
Click the Search to search accessed functions either by function name or User ID. See the Searching Accessed Functions section for more information. |
To view more information about a particular session, select the session’s row and click the View . Alternatively, you can double click the row.
The Session Audit Details screen appears.

Operator Details |
Click the Operator Details to display the Operator Details Summary screen, which contains the information about the user. |
Close |
Click to close the Session Audit Details screen. |
To view more information about the Operator, select a session from the list and click the Operator Details on the Session Audit Details window.

Displays the Operator’s work telephone. |

Displays the Operator’s mobile telephone. |

Displays the Operator’s email telephone. |
General |

Status |
Displays the status of the Operator, either Active or Inactive. If set to Inactive, the user is prevented from logging on to the system. |
Super User |
Displays whether the Operator is a system Super User. This means that they have access to every Menu Option associated with their Security Profile, rather than being limited to which items are enabled or disabled on the Security Profiles screen. However, they cannot access a Menu Option if it is not included on a menu linked with their Security Profile. They also do not have access to menus and options that they cannot navigate to from the Logon menu of their profile. |
Last Logged On |
Displays the date and time of when the Operator last logged on to the system. |
To delete a session, follow these steps:
Follow steps from 1- 4 in the Viewing Logged on Users procedure.
Select the View Logged On Operators option.
Select the session that you want to delete.
Click Delete .
The session is deleted and removed from the View Logged On Operators screen.
To search accessed functions either by function name or User ID, follow these steps:
Follow steps from 1- 4 in the Viewing Logged on Users procedure.
Select the View Logged On Operators option.
Click Search option.
The Functions Accessed Search window appears.
Enter the search terms and click the Search . The search results are displayed.

Select to limit the search to active system users only. |
Search Text |
Click the drop-down list to display a list of users or functions depending on the selected search type. Alternatively, type in a search term. |
Start Date |
Enter a start date by either typing directly into the field or by click on the calendar control. |
End Date |
Enter an end date by either typing directly into the field or by click on the calendar control. |
Security Violations Include/Exclude |
Select to include or exclude Security Violations in the search results. The system currently supports an email template for security violations. An email is sent automatically when an Operator tries to access a Menu Option they are not allowed to use. The emails are sent to the System Administrator, this is the Operator selected in the Administrator ID field on the Email tab. They are sent to the Operator’s primary email address. |

The Statistics Report contains details of how many times a Menu Option has been opened, and who has entered the option most often. This enables the identification of heavily used functions, which can be analysed to ensure that they work efficiently. This will help improve overall system performance. It also enables the identification of expert users of functions.
To view the Statistics Report, follow the steps:
Follow steps from 1- 4 in the Viewing Logged on Users procedure.
Select the View Logged On Operators option.
Click Stats Report .
Click browser’s print option to print out the report if required.
To clear the logon history, follow the steps:
Follow steps from 1- 4 in the Viewing Logged on Users procedure.
Select the View Logged On Operators option.
The View Logged On Operators screen appears.
Click Clear History .
The Tidy Up Session Files screen appears.
Select the Calendar control and select a date from the calendar control, or directly type in the date.
Click OK to clear all session files prior to the date that you have specified.
