Setting the Console Size

The PROIV Assure Console screen size configuration works in a similar way to the PROIV Developer screen size functionality. It is configured in rows and columns, and you can select from a range of predefined sizes, amend the predefined sizes, or set up your own dimensions.

If changes are made, you are prompted to apply the changes with immediate effect if required. In addition, the size is stored against the Operator and reapplied next time PROIV is run.

To set the PROIV Assure Console's size, follow these steps:

  1. Click Admin Options Admin options icon on the PROIV Assure Toolbar. Alternatively, select the Admin option from the PROIV Assure Menu.

  2. Select the Set Console Size option.
    The Set Screen Size window appears.

Screen Size

Select a predefined screen size from the Screen Size drop-down list. You can use the predefined dimensions as a starting point and amend them as necessary by changing the dimensions in the Height and Width fields. Alternatively, select Custom from the drop-down list and you can enter your own dimensions.

Height

Displays the height in rows of the screen size. These can be amended if necessary.

Range: 30 - 53 rows

N3 - Mandatory

Width

Displays the width in columns of the screen size. These can be amended if necessary.

Range: 11 - 200 columns

  1. Select the screen size from the Screen Size drop-down list. You can use the predefined dimensions as a starting point and amend them as necessary by changing the dimensions in the Height and Width fields. Alternatively, select Custom from the drop-down list and you can enter your own dimensions.

  2. Enter the height in the Height field if necessary.

  3. Enter the width in the Width field if necessary.

  4. Click OK to save the screen size details.

  5. A message box appears:

"Do you wish to apply the new settings immediately?"

  1. Click Yes to apply the new settings immediately, or click the No to apply the settings at the next logon.

  2. The new screen size is applied.
