Changing the Telnet Terminal Emulation

To change the telnet program for all of the PROIV sessions running on a host machine, and to make the settings common to all users who run the application:

1. On the PROIV Client main menu bar, select the Edit menu.

2. Select the Default Properties menu options. Alternatively you can press Ctrl Shift I. The PROIV Properties Customisation window displays.

3. Select the Terminal option.

4. Enter the command string needed to invoke the telnet terminal emulation in the Command field.

5. Enter the title of the telnet program in the Window Title field, which displays at the top of the telnet window when a connection is established. The title is required so that the Client can find the window at completion of a session to close down the telnet program.

Note: You can change the telnet program for the current session by selecting the Session Properties menu option and selecting the Connection option.
