048     ERROR IN CLEARING FILE - filename

Cause:             Unsuccessful attempt to clear a file.

Action:            The error condition may be caused by one of the following:

1.        File does not exist in file system.  Specify valid filename prior to
clearing file.

2.        File is currently being used by another task.  Try again later.
