option(s)             One or more of the following options separated by spaces:

-ffile-type                               Selects the source file system type  The default is the file system used as default by PROIV in your environment.

-n                                            Suppresses the copyright banner.

-o                                             Uses the PROIV sequential file format as on 1.5/2.0/2.2.

The format of the sequential output file for isout has been improved for PROIV VERSION 4 to include minimum record length details and alternate index descriptions.  In order to move indexed files to a system running PROIV version 1.5, 2.0 or 2.2, use the -o option.

-r                                             Prompts for maximum record size where necessary.

-v                                             Verbose - reports key values of each processed record.

outfile               The name of the sequential file to be created; it must not contain any of the following characters:   ( ) / \ [ ] : ; > <  ^

-sstartkey         Causes the listing to begin with startkey instead of the beginning/end of the file.  If startkey contains spaces, it must be enclosed in double quote marks.

-eendkey          Causes the listing to end with endkey instead of the beginning/end of the file.  If endkey contains spaces, it must be enclosed in double quote marks.

file(s)                The name(s) of the file(s) to be copied.  File names may include wild card characters to match a list of files; refer to your operating system manual for a description of host wild card specifications.
