Purpose

ROLLBACK() immediately issues a rollback request.
 

Syntax

#variable = ROLLBACK()
 

Operation

#variable is a numeric scratch variable.  It is set to zero if the rollback is successful.
 

Remarks

If the rollback fails, PROIV terminates.
 

Example

                #TEMP = ROLLBACK()

If an error occurs, the current transaction is aborted and the function exited.
