405     ONLY SCRATCH VARS ALLOWED IN DEFINE STMT - LOGIC ID ID# LINE# line#

Cause:             An illegal scratch variable name has been used in the DEFINE statement.

Action:            Enter a valid scratch variable in the DEFINE statement.  Alphanumeric scratch variables must begin with a dollar sign ($) and numeric scratch variables must begin with a pound sign (#).
