Extracting Multilingual Strings from Multiple Objects

This utility searches for multiple objects and extracts strings in order to set up the base language in the PROIV Lexicon.

1. On the main PROIV screen, select the Tools tab.

2. Select the Multilingual Tools tab.

3. Select the ML String Extraction icon.
   The String Extraction window displays.

4. Enter the selection criteria. Functions can be added into the list displayed in the main area of the window by entering a full or partial function name; or by choosing a list from the dropdown box. Select the Advanced to create a complex object selection.

5. Click Process.

6. The Choose Extraction Log window appears. Enter a unique log name and description. Click Process.
   
   A warning message appears, 'Are you sure you want to Extract these Objects', click Yes or No.

Note: If the object is open, an extraction error message displays.

7. When the bulk extraction is complete, a message displays. Click OK to close the message box.

8. Click Exit to close the String Extraction window.
