An Editbox that is a date will have a button that displays a date picker. This date picker is not the same as the one in the Open Client. The new date picker is similar to many modern date picker components.
The date picker uses the date format defined in the Messages.properties file (the default being dd/mm/yyyy) but it will also accept the date data typed in without the slashes separating the date elements.
